Blue Coral Pestemal in Chevron or Zig Zag Pattern

A pestemal or (pesh-te-mahl) is a traditional Turkish towel used in the Turkish baths. There are many kinds of pestemal, with different styles and colors in each local area in Turkey. Our specially hand-loomed pestemal has a loose, double-weave which gives it some texture and is very soft.

The pestemal absorbs water as fast as a traditional towel, dries very quickly, takes up less space, is easy to carry and is therefore used as an alternative to the towel in bathrooms, pools, spas, beaches. It can also be used as a throw for your couch or bed.  Using 17th century traditional weaving, TTC pestemals are handmade by master weavers in Bursa, Turkey.
